In cycling it is a tradition for the World Champion and each of the National Champions to wear a special champion's jersey for the year that they reign. It has now become popular for ex-champions to have stripes signifying their old championships displayed on the sleeves of their jerseys. It's a cool way for the fans and spectators to pick out the best riders.
In Quebec a couple of teams have had special jerseys made for their ex-national champions. They have white collars and sleeves with red maple leafs. My team, Espoirs Laval recently gave me one to race with and I have to say that it's one of the coolest cycling jerseys that I have ever worn.

Very pro. That is a cool thing to have. You should get an extra stripe for each national championship.

Never been a big fan of biking clothes. Often I see them as pretentious and much to tight for any dude to wear respectfully. But this does look mildly interesting. Ok! it blows every jersey I have seen thus far out of the water! Cool present Al, I bet even more special for a biker.
